Moving
M tells you how far a model can go. Everything is measured in inches.
On the datasheet, M (Movement) is a number of inches. An Intercessor has M 6": each of its models can advance up to 6 inches.
You measure from the model, in whatever direction you like. It can turn, go around a wall, stop short. You never have to use the whole distance.
The models in a unit move together and stay together: they finish their move close to one another, not scattered across the table.
A unit that has not moved shoots normally. Staying put is not a penalty.
