A turn
You each play in turn. Here is what you do during yours.
You play your whole turn, then your opponent plays theirs. The two together make one battle round. Then it starts again.
During your turn you do these things, in this order:
- Command phase: you gain 1 CP, and some units take a Battle-shock test.
- You move whichever units you want to move.
- You shoot with the ones carrying a ranged weapon.
- You charge the enemy with whichever units can reach it.
- Your units in contact with the enemy fight.
CP, Battle-shock: two new words, and the next page explains both of them.
From the movement onwards, none of it is compulsory. A unit can stay put, or move without shooting. You choose, unit by unit.
You finish a step for all your units before moving to the next one: everyone moves, then everyone shoots.
